Been 6 yrs, finally sold my delSol in April, 2005

Eventually, I bought the latest and some discontinued models from a couple of hobby stores in Toronto and via Japanese contacts. Up to now, there are altogether 8 delSol model kits from Fujimi and finally I have bought ALL of them!!! More photos will be available soon. If you can't get it anywhere, e-mail me and let me try.

Export version This is the ever first delSol model kit from Fujimi. It is an early VTi model that exported to foreign country outside from Japan (e.g. Holland, Australia...). This is not our North America version, since it has side markers turning lights. Thanks Robert from Australia sending me e-mail explaining that it could be an European/Aus. version coz it has stickers such as CivicCRX and VTi and notice that the side mirrors and door handles colour are not matched the body colour.

Here is my first sol model which assembled in July 1997. It's the "inch up" Japanese CR-X delSol SiR which has the B16A engine. Look at it, I even painted the interior.

Inch up VXi

I never see it in shops. It had been available on some online plastic model ordering website, however, I ordered it but they couldn't get me one due to out of stock (they said). I think it is the rarest one. It is a VXi (1500c.c. SOHC VTEC) and only VXi among all models here. Finally, I got it from a model shop in Japan which is the last one in their stock. :-)

TOHGE version

Thanks to Masatake from Japan to help me buying this model to make my collection completed. I never saw it in hobby shops neither on those online hobby websites. It looked the same as the blue SiR below but so-called the "TOHGE" series. It has the same rims as the Samba Green (#03355) above.

18 inch Low Profile

This is so-called "18 inch Low Profile" SiR version. It comes with the BBS 18" with Pirelli P-Zero tires, larger brake discs and calipers. This might be the continued version of the above 04027 sol.

Opencar series

Didn't expect that Fujimi would still make new delSol models. This delSol featured in the new Fujimi product line called 'Opencar', which collected all famous targa top, convertible vehicles.
